The Surveying Consultancy Ltd is a Chartered Building Consultancy with a reputation for finding innovative solutions for managing contracts, with the sole aim of maximising project value for our clients.
Our expertise as professional Quantity Surveyors extends beyond delivering cost management services to contract consultation, dispute resolution, CDM co-ordination and overall project management for new builds and refurbishment.
The Surveying Consultancy Ltd was founded by Nick Garvey BSc (Hons) MCIOB MQSi and has been awarded Chartered Building Consultancy status by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and is also registered with Constructionline Reg No. 60485
We are based at the prestigious Telford Plaza building in centre of Telford, from where we manage a wide range of projects on behalf of a network of clients with sites based throughout the UK.
As a young team of like minded construction professionals, our aim to deliver projects using best practice methods and the latest procedures and technical tools to aid us in, as efficiently and cost effectively as possible..
Our contract management services covers work for the MOD, banks, insurance companies, facilities management companies, commercial property developers and local authorities. All share the same fresh approach to delivering professional contract services and maximising client

Managing Director - Nick Garvey
Nick having over 15 years international experience within the Building, M&E and Construction industries. Nick has worked on measured term contracts (MTC) with the MoD as Quantity Surveyor in the Falkland Islands and as the Senior Quantity Surveyor in Gibraltar resolving and delivering the required solution to a complicated legacy. He has also worked within the UK as Regional Commercial Manager on various blue chip client accounts within Planned and Reactive maintenance. Nick founded the Surveying Consultancy in 2006 and has overseen the rapid development of the business, which already has an impressive list of clients.
